Marvelous Magalies

Went over to the Magaliesburg Mountains over the weekend and found a beautiful farm called Kranskloof with a 9km hiking trail that I together with a fellow adventurer named ‘L’ undertook to complete. It was very mild as far a mountain hikes go and beautifully scenic. The beginning parts of the hike proved to be a little strenuous although steady and a fair amount of agility was required when navigating the boulders in the actual kloof. A picnic and swim in the mountain stream about ¾ of the way into the hike made this unforgettable.
