Me and the Mister spent a very leisurely day in a place called Irene Farm in Centurion on Sunday. It’s a beautiful dairy farm with very friendly Jersey cows, a farm shop (with all sorts of yummy home-made and home-baked goodies) and two farm restaurants on the property. After a hearty lunch, we went for a lazy stroll around the property and decided that what we really need to do with our lives, is to become farmers..

I ran the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge last night. This race was the Johannesburg leg of a series that circulates several cities around the world for fundraising purposes. The idea is to get corporate companies to take part as teams and spend the evening forgetting their differences and lugging it out on the road then spend some time socializing afterwards…at least that’s the way I understand it. It was lots of fun and I will definitely be doing it again next year.
